Watch: First Look Featurette at D.J. Caruso's 'I Am Number Four'

I don't think many people are that interested in this movie yet, and it's hard sell because it's an adaptation of a new book that just came out, but it's gaining buzz. I took a closer look at the teaser trailer for D.J. Caruso's I Am Number Four a few weeks ago, and I enjoyed it more than when I first saw it. Disney / DreamWorks has debuted a new behind-the-scenes video that they're calling a "first look" featurette at I Am Number Four that focuses on lead Alex Pettyfer as #4 and his love interest played by Dianna Agron. Check out the fun featurette below, watch the teaser again, read our set visit report, and stay tuned for updates coming soon!
Watch a new first look featurette for D.J. Caruso's I Am Number Four:
John is an extraordinary teen, masking his true identity and passing as a typical high school student to elude a deadly enemy seeking to destroy him. Three like him have already been killed… he is Number Four.
I Am Number Four is directed by American filmmaker D.J. Caruso, of The Salton Sea, Taking Lives, Two for the Money, Disturbia and Eagle Eye most recently. The screenplay was co-written by writing partners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Lethal Weapon 4, Shanghai Knights, Spider-Man 2, Herbie Fully Loaded, "Smallville") and is based on James Frey & Jobie Hughes' novel of the same name that just hit bookshelves. DreamWorks is producing & Disney is bringing I Am Number Four to theaters on February 18th, 2011.

The novel was killer and I'm not into the Young Adult genre at all. I'm now really looking forward to this movie.

Njeh... I'll wait and see. But I fear it will be Twilight-ish, and that's not a compliment.

"...I'm not into the Young Adult genre at all." Same here and I'm not the target audience (passed that milestone many years ago) but I still have a soft spot for these types of movies and this looked OK.

alien twilgiht lol huh so anytime a movie has young leads in any sort of romance it must mean twilight newsflash movies have had young romantic leads before twilgiht existed

Looks like Smallville. Similar cinematography, similar crumby effects...but hey, I loved Smallville. Could turn out to be a cool flick. 🙂

Exactly. Twilight with Aliens instead of Vampires. But they kept the moody, loner girl, the rainy weather, the car rushing towards them as he protects her from it, etc etc.

I'm in my twenties & I'm in high school. We're both blonde & handsome/beautiful. There's nothing forbidden about our love, except that now I have super powers, and someone's trying to kill me, and by extension, you. How the Hell we became outcasts I have no idea. It's not like anybody in any audience anywhere will believe it. But look at my glowing hands. They're proof that this is a Jesus metaphor.
