IFC Films has just released an official trailer over on Apple for Steven Soderbergh's new documentary about the late, great actor, playwright and performance artist Spalding Gray, who most of you might know from the play/film Swimming to Cambodia. The doc is called And Everything Is Going Fine and Soderbergh "distills 25 years of rare and revealing footage to construct a riveting final monologue." One of my greatest memories from college is having a whole discussion dedicated to Spalding and Swimming to Cambodia, so I will consider myself a fan. I'm very excited to see this, and luckily it'll be hitting theaters fairly soon. Enjoy!

The film is an incisive and entertaining portrait of Spalding Gray that provides an intimate look at the master monologist as described by his most critical, irreverent and insightful biographer: Spalding Gray.
And Everything Is Going Fine is directed by Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh of Traffic, Ocean's Eleven-Thirteen, Solaris, Bubble, The Good German, Che, The Girlfriend Experience and The Informant. We spoke to Soderbergh about this a few years ago, and he explained that he wanted it to be different than other docs. IFC Films is bringing And Everything Is Going Fine to limited theaters starting December 10th next week.
