Watch: Second Full Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D Trailer is Out!

This hit earlier in the week, but it was a low res version of the trailer, so I've been waiting for a nice, clean HD version to show up. IGN has debuted the second official trailer for Resident Evil: Afterlife starring Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Sienna Guillory and Wentworth Miller, and a whole lot of nasty zombies. Maybe it's because I'm not a fan of this franchise, but this entire trailer looks like Paul W.S. Anderson watched the Matrix movies and said "I wish I could do that" and then went and totally ripped off every single shot and put it into a super-cheesy Resident Evil movie (the fourth one!). But this was made for the fans, so enjoy!

She's back… And she's bringing a few of her friends. Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter co-star with Wentworth Miller, Kim Coates, Kacey Barnfield, Shawn Roberts, Spencer Locke, Norman Yeung and also Boris Kodjoe.
Resident Evil: Afterlife is both written and directed by British director Paul W.S. Anderson, who introduced us to the cinematic Resident Evil franchise back in 2002, then helped write the sequels, but hasn't directed another Resident Evil movie since. After last using Russell Mulcahy for Extinction, Anderson has returned to continue on this franchise with old faces but new excitement. Sony / Screem Gems is bringing Resident Evil: Afterlife to theaters everywhere n 3D on September 10th, 2010 this year. Planning on seeing this?

Even though the movies are too much action and too little horror survival, I still love watching the movies because Im a huge Res Evil fanboy. Looks like they added more stuff from the newer games into it. Bring it on!

Why did it take until the 4th horrible movie to include Chris and Wesker. Still no Leon? I love the games but I really cant stand that when they turned it into a movie they just made up some chick with superpowers and took the charecters from the games and just kinda put em on the side and now we have to watch Alice and a bunch of her clones in a wannabe matrix movie. They even managed to screw up Tyrant in the last movie, WTF. If any franchise needs a reboot its this one.

Too extreme, too predictable, too unrealistic, too much crap! This franchise has become too visual based with very little storyline. Then you have the 3D Element which is another visual factor for a shell with no content!

LOL @ the kid who said the CG looks bad shit looks nice compared to a lot of movies. Acting looks good, Chris and Claire was chosen for the perfect people. Story is not to great. But nerds will cry like little bitches if it's not like the games, lol how sad.

I see a lot less Matrix in this trailer than the last one actually. This might be alright. More zombies is better. Zombies in a city is better. More Alice, much better. When the last one ended I was hoping for a army of Alice in this one and it looks like I might get it. Guilty pleasure.

Who let them keep making movies?! quote #2. I mean honestly the games were amazing, why would you go and change the story line pretty much completely around and make some crap action movie out of it. Its supposed to about surviving the apocalypse of zombies, not CG.

C'mon people yes this movie is not going to be as good as Avatar or The Dark Knight. People these days only think a movie is good if it compares to these "blockbuster" movies. For one the movie looks like a very exciting thriller, and also it involves some story lines from the video game which i think makes it more interesting to the gamer community. In closing the movie looks FUN to watch and i wont be saying at the end of the movie "man Avatar was better" because in honesty it probably is..but i promise if you give it a fair chance and dont compare it, it will probably entertain you.

I have a place in my heart for the movies, I love the movies, and I also love the games. The movies and the games are awesome in their own way. I'm not an obsessed nerd with the videogame like most ppl out there who keep talking shit about the movies.I'm mature about it and If I don't like something then I won't waste my time commenting on them. I love the games and the movies!!! P.s we've already established that the movies and the games are different years ago, so shut the fuck up already and get over it losers. Peace.

i love these movies. not cause they're made with any amount of quality, but because they have something to offer that most actions movies have forgotten about recently; they are fun as shit. think of the classic action movies out there, Commando, ANY of the Rambos shy of the last, Remo Williams, etc. each of these movies are RETARDED in their own way, but the are just so much fun to watch.
