127 Hours Trailer

When we debuted the first teaser trailer for Danny Boyle's 127 Hours, the pinned-under-a-boulder survival film starring James Franco, I didn't know what exactly it was all about, so I called it "funky" even though that's just Boyle's visual style. Having since seen the film, I know what it's like and can give you guys exactly what you need to know - which is, at least, that you need to see this. Fox Searchlight has debuted another new full-length theatrical trailer for 127 Hours on Apple and it's a bit different, but mostly the same, as that first trailer. That image above comes from the official poster, which was on Apple's page. Watch this below!

127 Hours is directed by Oscar winner Danny Boyle, of Trainspotting, The Beach, 28 Days Later, Sunshine and Slumdog Millionaire previously. "We want it to be a challenge for you guys as well… to see if you can watch it," Boyle said. In the first look post, Boyle said "you will want him to cut off his arm by the end." As well as Franco, the cast includes Lizzy Caplan, Kate Mara, Amber Tamblyn and the lovely Clémence Poésy. It also had two cinematographers, Anthony Dod Mantle and Enrique Chediak, who follow Franco through POV dialogue in some scenes. Fox Searchlight scheduled 127 Hours for limited release starting November 5th.

Looks awesome! I absolutely loved Into The Wild, and this film looks a bit similar. At least I hope it does, that would be amazing!

This is my most anticipated movie for the awards season and that's considering Black Swan and True Grit.

A bit different??? This right here is THE trailer. The other doesn't hold a candle to this one. Amazing visuals, trailer music selection, and performances. Wow, opening night for sure!

never a big Franco fan, but this one has me hooked. Great trailer. I'm a definite for going out to see this one.

Wow, I'm getting soft with age because my eyes watered when I saw the clip of his memory of him supposedly with his dad. Being a recent father, so to speak if a year is still accepted as recent, and it got me thinking about my son going through what Aron had to which didn't sit well. Anyhow this could be the IT film for Franco. He has proven to me to be an actually good actor under all that comedic image he has now. Boyle, with trailer, showed me he didn't lose it somehow as the last trailer was meh at best. The tone was too humorous and then too much like some sort of torture terror. This second trailer is so much more and better. Looking forward to it now.

Looks good. I'd see it.

and it's consistent with what they are saying: James Franco is everywhere these days...

Thankfully the song choice doesn't reflect the ending

Yup, that's a solid trailer, I now am interested in the film. I usually avoid films that are based on real life (I go to the cinema to escape real life), but I know this tale has a semi-happy ending, so I'm in 🙂

looks interesting... i would have died in 30min 😛

I remember seeing this documentary after this happened. It was awesome. Unfortunately I recorded it on VHS, and no one has VHS anymore; so, I am definitely going to see this after it comes out. This is now the most anticipated movie for me to go see.
