Watch This: Full-Length Trailer for Mockumentary 'Trollhunter'

Ohh yes! We featured an awesome teaser trailer back in August for an upcoming Norwegian mockumentary called Trollhunter. Now we have the first full-length trailer from VGTV and it looks amazing! Trollhunter, known as Trolljegeren in its original language, is basically about a group of students trying to uncover the government conspiracy of giant trolls living in Norway. The first teaser didn't really show any of the actual trolls (like the one above), but this trailer finally has some footage of them and damn does it look awesome. I don't know why, but this is exactly the kind of mockumentary I love seeing, and I can't wait to watch this.

There aren't many details available for this film yet, but apparently it's from the producers of the Norwegian WWII epic Max Manus and is being directed by someone named André Ovredal. As Twitch explains: "The picture is a tongue-in-cheek moc-doc that proposes that the Norwegian government has been hiding the fact that they have a secret population of trolls - real, actual trolls - living on game preserves in the far north of the country, kept safe and secure and out of the public eye to prevent mass panic should people realize that these fairy tale creatures are real." Apparently Trolljegeren hits theaters in Norway this October, but we're not sure when it will be coming to the US. We'll definitely keep you updated on whatever we hear about this.

I love how they use light to fend them off, that's a brilliant piece of film making. My only complaint with Monsters was that I could barely see anything throughout the entire film.

Looks like a blast! I reckon this will be a giant hit in that part of the world due to trolls being such a large part of their culture, just like ghosts are in Japan.
