Watch This: Fun Little Featurette About Iron Man 2's Villains
"I'm gunna go kick Iron Man's ass." Since we're down to the last few weeks, or rather the last few days (16 left for the US), before Iron Man 2 hits theaters, Paramount is rolling out their final big marketing push, which includes lots of new TV marketing like this little video. Entertainment Tonight (via SlashFilm) has aired a fun new 1-minute featurette for Iron Man 2 that's all about the villains - all two of them. The first one is Whiplash, played by Mickey Rourke, and the second is Justin Hammer, played by Sam Rockwell. By now I'm just anxious to see this movie. I really can't wait, it looks so awesome! Check out the video below.
Watch ET's featurette on the villains in Iron Man 2:
With the world now aware of his dual life as the armored superhero Iron Man, billionaire inventor Tony Stark faces pressure from the government, press, and the public to share his technology with the military.
Iron Man 2 is directed by actor-turned-filmmaker Jon Favreau, who previously directed Made, Elf, Zathura, and the first Iron Man. The screenplay for this was also written by an actor, Justin Theroux, who became a screenwriter a few years ago and co-wrote the Tropic Thunder script. Paramount will be bringing Iron Man 2 to theaters everywhere starting on May 7th, 2010 this summer. See everyone in theaters in May for this!
Looks real strong, looking forward to this, fingers crossed for Thor, Cap then Avengers will take shape. Any news on Hulk 2?

Why is this film delayed in the U.S.? As I have typed several times before, I live in the UK and Iron Man 2 is out a whole week earlier here. I Watched "Kick Ass" at least 2 weeks before the US release and Transformers: Revenge of the fallen was released earlier too. I really believe in a worldwide simultaneous release. I feel that films made in the US should come out there first. It makes sense. (Just not the "UP" fiasco) I really hope this is sorted for all in the US and it is brought forward.

@ # 4 - they release it early for your sorry ass country because they release it best for last where they can actually make some money

#5, your comment is absolutely stupid and useless. Not that #4's was much better... This actually looks good. I don't normally appreciate Marvel's movies, but I liked Iron Man 1. If you add Rourke and Johansson, for sure I'll like the sequel!

@ #3 #4 #5 #6. Your arguements we're.. lackluster. "It must pop, pop, pop! So tomorrow, from five to seven please act like you have more than a two-word vocabulary." I'm bored, featurette was awesome. Can't wait. Midnight release here I come.

Speaking of Intelligence: So does this make Sam Rockwell Steve Jobs or uh , the guy from Microsoft. The Gates fellow. (Bc. obviously Mickey Rourke is Larry Ellison.)

The scene in the trailer where Stark and Rhody are Jon Woo-ing those other robots it looks like they're in a mandarin garden. SO....................... Mandarin?

@7 My point was exactly that, A POINT, and not an argument. Check the posts before commenting. I was also trying to stick up for the citizens of the U.S. as I felt it was unfair that we had your movies before you did. However, Having just got back from the cinema, I was shocked to see the poster for "A Nightmare On Elm Street" The date below was 7th May 2010. I am not happy. I loved the original movies and can't wait to see it but, I have to, another 7 bloody days!

@5 it's nice to know racism is in your repertoire. I am glad I have American friends that make me see that your country has some decent people because you most certainly didn't give me that impression.

@ Link1983 I reckon Kick Ass came out earlier as it was produced from Britain, that sometimes happens that way. It's funny how instantly patriotic and hateful people get on this site. It's weird the model for patriotism in Britain, was eventually copied by a man named Adolf Hitler, go figure. It's like collective stupidity. I live in Scotland where there are people like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSq5gCztPp0 It's the pride that makes you dumber. As for Iron Man 2, reckon it will be okay, funny and action packed daftness

@15 Agreed! I watched Moon earlier this week. What a movie. @3 I think we get enough movies first that we can share world premieres. 🙂 I just don't like all the distribution nonsense that keeps movies from getting seen in countries other than their one of origin. And most of the time they're limited release if they do get a release at all. Paramount had to move the world premiere from London to Los Angeles, but I believe it's still on April 26th. And then the Stark Expo is on May 7th, the U.S. release date. I live far enough from New York City that it's too expensive to visit regularly, but close enough that if when they start selling tickets to Stark Expo 2010, I'm taking time off to see it. I know they have something planned, because a friend of mine knows a guy who dresses up for conventions as Tony Stark, and apparently he got two free tickets to the Expo.
