Watch This: Ryan Reynolds & Jeff Daniels in Paper Man Trailer

Paper Man Trailer

Never heard of this movie? Exactly. The first official trailer for Paper Man starring Jeff Daniels and Ryan Reynolds as his "imaginary superhero friend." Whoa! While everyone is buzzing about what Reynolds will look like in Green Lantern, we can actually watch him play another faux superhero in this film. Paper Man premiered at the LA Film Festival last year, as it is an indie production, but hasn't really made waves at any festival. That said, this doesn't look amazing, but it looks good, in a charming sort of way (isn't it supposed to be a comedy, though?). Anyway, if you actually want to see Reynolds in tights today, well, here you go!

Watch the trailer for Kieran and Michele Mulroney's Paper Man:

A coming-of-middle-age comedy that chronicles the unlikely friendship between a washed-up failed author (Jeff Daniels) a Long Island teenager (Emma Stone) who teaches him a thing or two about growing up.

Paper Man was both written and directed by first-time feature filmmakers Kieran and Michele Mulroney, a husband and wife directing team who are also siblings to actors Dermot Mulroney and Sean Mulroney. This first premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival last year and is being released by a company called MPI Media Group in the US. Paper Man will arrive in limited theaters starting on April 23rd later this month.

Well if nothing else, Ryan Reynolds is in great shape.

saw this on fandango, and it actually looks pretty good, Reynolds paired with Daniels just seems right, the blonde hair though does not.

Xerxex on Apr 12, 2010

Hey, something original, and interesting, from Hollywood! Did hell freeze over?

I don't think this was a very good trailer, but I still think the movie looks good. I'd go see it.

This looks like a fun and original movie, Ryan Reynold's costume is hilarious, for a minute there I thought he was a real character in the movie. Jeff Daniels is a really good actor, I will watch this movie next Friday when it comes out.

Love my fellow Michigander Daniels and I've liked Reynolds since he did 2 guys and a girl (tv). It looks like a fun quirky movie that I would watch although in the back of my mind I think it may put me to sleep. I'll have to check it out.

interesting idea...........but the trailer isn't very good.

I still can't believe this is CGI... I like the cast and the quirky style. And btw, "Memoires of an amnesiac" is an AWESOME book title!

I like the look of this, looks silly, but enjoyable.

seems like green lantern will be in good shape after all 😛

This looks gay. It probaly going to get a shitty grade. If you have ever read entertainment weekly, all the comedy that come out always get a shitty grade. Plus it doesn't even look funny. It just a grown dude with a imagenary friend and he falls in love with a girl.

King Aweasome on Apr 12, 2010

#12 "looks gay" is no longer hip, just so you know.

Xerxex on Apr 12, 2010

I'm in love with Emma Stone. And that's the girl off Friends! (Kudrow). This looks like a sweet movie. I'll go see it. Ryan Reynolds looks pretty funny too.

Kalil on Apr 12, 2010

I wish this was in 3D

Gonnarentit on Apr 12, 2010

This looks really good. Proof that Hollywood still has hope.

Too funny #19! Ha HA!!!

Like Jeff Bridges, (until recently), Jeff Daniels is an under-rated treasure. This looks good, can't wait. Gee, that guy from the "Two Guys and Girl and a Pizza Shop" sure has turned out to be popular!

kitano0 on Apr 13, 2010

Looks good. I can't wait. I love Jeff Daniels. I'm all for imaginary friends too. I currently keep an orange ferret in my desk drawer at work for just such occasions.

Does anyone know the song at the end of the trailer?

Notex on Apr 13, 2010
