I Love You Phillip Morris Trailer

Don't worry, I know this isn't going to be for everyone. I Love You Phillip Morris is an independent film starring Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor as gay lovers. I'm saying that right now so you're not shocked watching this trailer. It's actually a pretty good movie (read my review) and I suggest seeing it. I Love You Phillip Morris first showed at Sundance last year and eventually played in Cannes as well (which is where I first saw it). We featured an early trailer for this last July, but this is the official US trailer that is being used to promote its March opening in the US (via Collider). Watch it below and let us know what you think after?

Watch the second official trailer for I Love You Phillip Morris from YouTube:

When Steve Russell turns to cons and fraud to allow him to change his lifestyle, his subsequent stay in the state penitentiary results in his meeting the love of his life, a sensitive fellow inmate named Phillip Morris.

I Love You Phillip Morris is both written and directed by first-time feature filmmakers Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who previously wrote the screenplays for Cats & Dogs, Bad Santa, and Bad News Bears. The film is based on Steven McVicker's book of the same name. This premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. Consolidated Pictures is bringing I Love You Phillip Morris to theaters on March 26th.

Whoa shoot I'm not sure... It worked 3 minutes ago when I published this! Will try to find an alternate version... It's fixed now and should be working!

"Based on a story so unbelievable, it has to be true". Wasn't that the tag line for "The men who stare at goats"?. Anyways, I guess this looks funny. I won't be seeing this in theaters, but because of Jim Carrey it will definitely get a DVD rental.

Is homosexuality so shocking and disturbing that your readers will need a disclaimer protecting them from accidentally being reminded of its existence? Not only that but you find it completely natural and obvious to assume that such a film will be terrible, to the extent that you express surprise at it being "actually a pretty good movie". Is that what you're saying? Well done on so succinctly expressing your own acceptance of homophobia while simultaneously accusing your readers of it. Maybe in future you could just pretend like we're all civilized people, and let the bigots deal with their own problems.

At #6, you're the one trying to start a fight over it. Alex was just avoiding having someone talk s*** about the topic and blaming him for putting it on the website. And you got it wrong with the "its actually a good movie". He didnt say "hey, here's a gay movie that's actually good". A lot of people were in fact shocked with brokeback mountain. So what? To each its own. Besides, alex uses this expression a lot when introducing us to trailers... And accepting the fact that homophobia does exist is very different from saying one agrees with it. Let's stop the paranoia, please.

Ah, and the trailer was awesome! Sounds funny as hell. And the first part reminded me of "Catch me if you can", that's allways a good thing! Off topic: Alex, have you seen "the good guy"? Just watched the trailer on apple, looks preety decent.

Jim Carrey is a crap shoot to me. Sometimes really funny and sometimes annoying. This looks like one of the funnier ones he has done in a while. I'd watch it.

#6 Fuck off, he said "This is not for everyone" now that statement is just saying not everyone enjoys seeing two dudes kissing, not condeming them to burn. Stop you pathetic attempt at Trolling.
