Watch Warwick Davis Read Two Stories From His New Book!

Warwick Davis

I've been a big fan of actor Warwick Davis almost longer than anyone. Not only did he charm everyone as Wicket in Return of the Jedi, but it was whil ewatching Willow that I knew I'd love this guy forever. Davis is still an actor today (he's in the Harry Potter movies as Flitwick and Griphook), he manages his own talent agency for little people, and he also just published his autobiography called Size Matters Not (which is sadly only available in the UK at this moment). Earlier this week I was sent two new video clips of Warwick reading Star Wars and Harry Potter-related stories from his book and they're both completely awesome!

This first video is of Warwick reading a passage about the first time he ever met George Lucas on set:

This second video is of Warwick reading a passage about Michael Gambon on the Harry Potter sets:

I love these videos (and Warwick Davis) so much. From the way he starts with his jolly little "Oh hello, I was just reading… What's that, you'd like to hear some?" banter to the amusing stories themselves. I've already ordered a copy of Size Matters Not from the UK because I can't wait to read it and I have no clue when it's coming to the US. In addition to stories about Harry Potter and Star Wars, apparently the book also talks about how he nearly drowned while shooting Willow and the interior workings of his Marvin the Paranoid Android suit from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. But seriously, how can anyone not love Warwick Davis? Not only is he a wonderfully talented actor, but he's one of the cheeriest guys around. Hope you enjoy!

"and other crap besides!" Hilarious! Tempted to get it, he's had a truly varied and interesting career. And was utterly fantastic in Willow.

He's a class act. Anyone who hasn't seen him in Extras should check it out, he's brilliant in it.
