Joyeux Noel! Gledelig Jul! Froehliche Weihnachten! Mele Kalikimaka! From all of us at FirstShowing.net, we want to wish every one our readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays! Whether you're with your family or with friends or whether it's snowing or sunny, we hope you have a wonderful weekend. For those that follow the tradition of seeing a movie on Christmas Day, like myself, I hope we've at the least helped you make the right choice. I'm planning on catching War Horse with my family this year. News and trailers always slow down quite a bit during the holidays, but we'll be back at full speed once 2012 arrives!
"You'll have a tale or two to tell when you come back." This might be the last quieter Christmas before everything gets really crazy when The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey plus Django Unchained (and World War Z, too) hit theaters in December 2012, next Christmas. As many know, I'm a massive Lord of the Rings fan and cannot wait to be celebrating Christmas next year (in, of course, a movie theater) with Gollum himself and the One Ring. Hope everyone has a fantastic, relaxing holiday break. Merry Christmas!
Buon Natale a tutti! I can't wait to check out Django Unchained next Christmas 🙂

Nice! I found my unable to drink anymore after the food. I hope you don't feel too bad today, to cure I went for a walk at the base of some mountains and nearly got blown away today, feel ready for more beer and food. I think for all the fuss about Christmas and it's meaning, being at home with family or friends and sharing each others company is the most important part. Having a son has also helped beat the Scrooge out of me too. Now onto New Years!

If anything can be learned from a shameful addiction to worldly stories it is people will forever try to turn a negative into a positive. Happy Holidays on a season of sharing.

Wishing you a wonderful 2012. I must say an unusual way to spend Christmas Day in a movie theater. As Christmas day is classified as a public holiday here in Australia our local theater is closed for the day.... Appreciate your recommended movies. Enjoy the holidays!! Sandy
