Alice Eve Set to Play a Young Emma Thompson in 'Men in Black 3D'
by Ethan Anderton
February 16, 2011
Though we heard somewhat worrisome news about the production delay facing Men in Black III, it looks like some good news has come with the slightly bad. Deadline reports the lovely Alice Eve (She's Out of My League) will be playing a younger version of Olivia, the MiB headquarters chief who will also be played by Emma Thompson in present day. Back in 1969 (where the time travel plot takes place), Olivia was hired as a secretary for the agency and while she's definitely sexy, she can back it up with smarts too. Surely she'll run into Agent J (Will Smith) and young Agent K (Josh Brolin) as MiB has to save the world once again.
Once again, production resumes at the end of March with a cast that also has Tommy Lee Jones returning for the sequel and new cast members like Jemaine Clement playing an alien villain known as Yaz. Eve is becoming quite a hot commodity as of late. Though she missed out on roles in comic book films like Captain America: The First Avenger and X-Men: First Class, the actress is said to be a top contender for the lead female role (which may turn out to be the Kryptonian vixen Ursa). I know I'll be looking forward to seeing her fine form in a regulation MiB lady suit. How about you?

Maybe they'll go back in time and stop MiB 2 from being made. Also, love that picture.

Woah, sorry, wait. (With all due respect) Emma Thompson never looked like *that* when she was young. That's not just asking for suspension of disbelief - that's asking for it to be strapped to a missile and fired into the sun.
