Another Epic New Trailer for Fox's 'Water for Elephants' Adaptation
"Love is worth the risk." With a few weeks before opening, Amazon has debuted another full-length trailer for Francis Lawrence's adaptation of Water for Elephants, the circus drama starring Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon, Christoph Waltz, James Frain, Hal Holbrook (who isn't in this trailer). We've seen at least two fantastic trailers before, but this one seems a bit more straightforward with the story from the book and spends a little more time focused on Pattinson and his character. I really can't wait to see this, the way it builds is so epic. This trailer is a little spoilery in showing a lot of the film, but still looks great.
Watch the newest official trailer for Francis Lawrence's Water for Elephants:
A veterinary student abandons school after his parents are killed and joins a traveling circus as their vet.
Water for Elephants is directed by Austrian-born filmmaker Francis Lawrence, of action flicks Constantine and I Am Legend. The screenplay was written by Richard LaGravenese (Soderbergh's Liberace, P.S. I Love You, Freedom Writers, Beloved, The Horse Whisperer, The Bridges of Madison County, Little Princess, The Fisher King). It's based on Sara Gruen's highly acclaimed and beloved novel of the same name published in '06. Fox is bringing the highly anticipated Water for Elephants adaptation to theaters starting April 22nd.

This looks fantastic. I really like the music that they have used for these trailers.

Whoever wrote the tagline "Life is the most spectacular show on earth" deserves a giant giant raise.

This looks utterly beautiful if nothing else.

God damnit stop using "epic" to describe every trailor you review. It isn't epic. Scott Pilgrim wasn't epic, the poster for Tron wasn't epic. When someone makes a movie about one of Homer's works, call it epic.

^or you can start your own site and choose not to use the word epic all you want

I would just hope someone who writes for a living would use words that actually make sense. Is this trailer a long poem? No. Is it huge? No. Not epic, shitheads.

You're an epic asshole.

I'm inclined to agree with you.Epic: "of unusually great size or extent". Like how Homer's "epics" were of unusually great size or extent.By definition, you shouldn't be able to use the word to describe every trailer, because if they're all "epic" then none of them are of unusually great blah blah blah. When you're dealing with pop culture, however, you have to remember that "bad" can mean "good" and "awesome" is often used to describe relatively ordinary things.

Well it's actually pretty decent from this trailer, looks much improved anyway. He might do really well from this.

I am not a fan of Witherspoon but I can recognise that she looks pretty in this and I hope Patterson get a nomination for this...He is following Dicaprio hopefully
