Another New International Trailer for 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'
"Soon you will know us all, only too well." Though it's no 4-minute long trailer, nor does it have the singe of the original red band trailer, this new international trailer for David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is still worth watching, as it features Reznor's score once again and gives us more of a glimpse of the story and world they're playing in. Daniel Craig stars as Mikael Blomkvist, Rooney Mara as the badass Lisbeth Salander, along with a cast including Christopher Plummer, Robin Wright and Stellan Skarsgård. This trailer helps explain the story better, for those who need it, and will keep us all very anxious to see this.

A journalist is aided in his search for a woman who'd been missing, or dead, for forty years, by a young female hacker, played in this one by Rooney Mara. Based on Stieg Larsson's Millennium series of novels.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is directed by Oscar nominated filmmaker David Fincher, of great films like Se7en, The Game, Fight Club, Panic Room, Zodiac, Benjamin Botton and The Social Network just last year. The script was adapted by Oscar winning screenwriter Steven Zaillian (Schindler's List, Hannibal, Gangs of New York, All the King's Men, American Gangster) directly from Larsson's novel. Sony is bringing Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to theaters on December 21st, right before Christmas. Feel bad this holiday.

Im in! Some won't agree; but nothing wrong with watching a good movie twice... told from another view/language. Its almost like a competition of who can tell it better. So far the only objection I have is that the original girl was kinda hot.

I agree with the entire statement except the last part. Rooney Mara is way better looking then Noomi Rapace. But, she does look odd in this movie a bit anorexic.

In for best picture at next years Oscars? It's beautiful, and Trent's score is completely intoxicating.

Just to make it clear - Fincher stated in THR last month that this is NOT a remake of the Swedish film. It's another adaptation of the novel. Sure there will be unavoidable and obvious similarities, but this is Fincher's vision and take on the novel.

Definitely gonna see it but based on the trailers it really does look like a shot for shot remake
