Arnold Schwarzenegger

After dealing with some personal issues, Arnold Schwarzenegger is already slated to return to the big screen with The Last Stand, the English language debut of director Jee-woon Kim and also a recently confirmed substantial role in The Expendables 2. Now Deadline says the action star has lined up yet another project in the form Captive, of a new indie action thriller from writer Benjamin van der Veen and a story by Nicolai Fuglsig. Schwarzenegger wouldn't exactly be a big time action hero in this film as the story sees him playing an American real estate magnate living in Brazil who is kidnapped and held for ransom.

But while the man is frantically searching for a way out of the armored truck in which he's being held within a Sao Paolo landfill, a detective specializing in kidnap and ransom cases works to find him. Seems to have flares of Buried but without the difficult task of setting the whole film inside a coffin underground. Honestly, as interested as I am to see Schwarzenegger getting back to action oriented dramas like this or straight-up action films like The Expendables sequel, I'd like to see him take on another comedy like his glory days in films like Kindergarten Cop. Hopefully that happens sooner than later.

sounds like he will get a couple of movies in production because he knows that if 2 or 3 fails and one succeeds he will be back on top. pretty smart. Get more chances to show there still is an audience for him and they will know what to build on, what kind of movie.

Not to sound superficial or anything, but I hope he manages to get back into decent shape :p

Arnold has pig valves in his heart from all the years of steroid abuse. It's safe to say he won't be getting back into shape ever again.

Arnold has a genetically inherited heart defect from his father who died at a similiar age from the same problem, luckily for him modern medicine allowed him to recover. Whether or not he abuse drugs is he's own business and by todays standards of your average guy, alcohal, cigerattes, coke, grass, hash, is quite tame. Arnold is in great shape and works out all the time, the fact that he isn't Mr Universe anymore is because he's 64. A fan.

I was hoping he would do more dramas from now on and stop pigeonholing himself as just an action star. This was a second chance for him and it is so disappointing to see from these projects that he is choosing that he doesn't want to reach his full potential as an actor.

It is a shame that Arnold's marriage collapsed right at the moment of his long-awaited comeback to Hollywood. Marriage, in my experience takes work. A lot of work. I think my husband taught me a lot about inner beauty and confidence in myself. I'm slim but voluptuous with my Irish charm. I've got curves and a large bust but it seemed that men were more interested in my chest than my personality. My exes seemed obsessed with my cleavage. They were always going on about my breasts, and in bed they practically worshipped them, while I wished they concentrated their attention elsewhere. My husband's in love with the person inside of me, and the outside of me is just a bonus. I feel better - so much better now than I ever did in my twenties. I know who I am. And as a result, I feel much sexier.

If its any movie he should, it should be a sequel to "Kindergarten Cop".
