"I do not want your kingdom… I want your head!" Gotta love the one-liners coming from of this movie. A brand new, 30-second long TV spot for Marcus Nispel's Conan the Barbarian reboot, starring Jason Momoa, has hit the web thanks to a debut on GodoftheArena's YouTube (via MarketSaw). This comes as a follow-up to the theatrical trailer that debuted a month ago and features lots of shots of epic action and sets and all kinds of crazy stuff. The song, for those that don't know, is by Hollywood Undead. I still think this looks awesome, like it will be action-filled extravaganza that should be a fun way to end this summer. Enjoy!

In addition to Momoa, Conan the Barbarian stars Ron Perlman, Rachel Nichols, Rose McGowan, Stephen Lang, Steven O'Donnell and Saïd Taghmaoui as Ela-Shan. This is being directed by Marcus Nispel of the Friday the 13th remake, that atrocity Pathfinder, the other Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, and a bunch of music videos. This is a Nu Image/Millennium Films production co-produced by Avi Lerner and Joe Gatta and is based on the classic characters created by Robert E. Howard which first debuted in 1932 in Weird Tales. Lionsgate is bringing Conan the Barbarian to theaters in 3D starting on August 19th this summer.

I am trying to save my judgements till I see it...but I am a huge fan of the original. I hope it will have something original that we haven't seen before and come into its own. Here's hoping!

It just doesn't feel/look like the Conan from books, games and movies. I'll wait for the DVD. Happy Momoa is getting his break on the Hollywood scene.

I love all things Conan - except Anald as Conan! THis is gonna be cool. Pathfinder may have had no story - but no one can deny that it was a dark and atmospherically wonderful.

a closet pathfinder fan?....cool. i bought that on dvd just for the reasons you mention - that, and those vikings were the most menacing i've ever seen in a movie!

I can't wait to see this! Really looking forward to the showdown with Conan and Stephen Lang's character! I think this Conan is going to suprise alot of people..

The biggest thing this film has going against it is the director. Well rounded cast and though the trailer looks great, its safe to be leery of this.

To me, this kinda looks like a mash between Xena/Hercules tv series (but with better CG effects) and The Scorpion King! Question: Is it Co-nan or Co-nin?? I know technically it can be pronounced both ways but some consistency would be nice? Right?

I think Conan should have been done in the same style as 300... would have given it a different spin from the original and a lot of the magic and effects wouldn't have such an obvious CGI gloss to them...
