Cars N' Deals Viral Clip from Pixar's 'Cars 2' Found via New Twitter

Time to go undercover with Pixar. Over the weekend, while WonderCon was running in San Francisco, home of Pixar, the animation studio unleashed a viral via the twitter @ChromeLeaks which links to cars-n-deals.com then forwards to a YouTube video of a "Cars N' Deals of Emeryville Sale-A-Bration!" As in, the local car shop is have a Sale-A-Bration and… they're selling cars. Near the end, the screen flickers and bam - the image above is captured. Notice the URL? Hidden there is a new clip from Pixar's Cars 2 introduced by a very sneaky John Lasseter. It's a pretty fun little viral reminiscent of the Lotso commercials of last year.

This is such a fun idea, because Cars 2 is pretty much a James Bond movie set in the Pixar's Cars 2 universe and Lasseter is acting all spy-like. We hope there's more to come! Watch the latest full Cars 2 trailer here.

Cars 2 is being directed by former Pixar producer Brad Lewis, who is making his directorial debut following producing work on Ratatouille. We've also heard that John Lasseter has returned to Pixar to help co-direct, but Disney is quick to deny that. No screenplay credits are listed yet for Cars 2. Disney will be bringing Pixar's Cars 2 to theaters everywhere in Disney Digital 3D starting June 24th in the middle of the summer.
