Disneyland to Run 'Pirates of the Caribbean 4' Sneak Peek Live Shows

Anyone excited to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides after that last epic trailer? Well if you're in California, or planning any upcoming trips there, Disneyland in Anaheim will be hosting a sneak peek of the new movie - an extended 3D film sequence. "It'll be 'all hands on deck' as park guests take on the role of pirates and enter Festival Arena to 'set sail' for high adventure with Captain Jack and many of the new Pirate stars in the unique, immersive 3D film experience, featuring a scene from the new movie." Yea, I didn't write that. Looks like this might be a replacement for the ElecTRONica setup they had last fall.
Calling All Buccaneers! Embark on the Thunder Mountain Trail, become a member of Capt. Jack's crew, get trained in "the basics of the buccaneer trade" by other pirates, then step onto the Blackbeard's mysterious ship, Queen Anne's Revenge. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at Disneyland is an interactive stage event featuring state-of-the-art projections, 3D film sequences and special effects that include bursts of flame, dramatic sound effects and theatrical lighting. This just sounds awesome. It's great to see Disney getting back into focusing on their parks, as this is where this movie franchise originally came from anyway.
The show will run only on weekends from March 25 to May 30, then every evening seven nights a week from April 15 to May 1 in anticipation of On Stranger Tides' opening on May 20. You can get more information on the Disney Parks Blog or the event's page at Disneyland.com. Anyone planning on catching this show?

I'm interested to see how this works out. This is going to be an outside event, versus the inside Tron event at The Muppets Theater. Weather is touch and go this time of year in So. Cal. Not to mention, whether or not the view will be good for the 3D outside. I have the passes, may as well take a look.
