Though this weekend will see the clash of dozens of A-list talent in New Year's Eve, next year a smaller number of big stars will find themselves pregnant in the ensemble romantic comedy What to Expect When You're Expecting, based on the best-selling instructional book by Heidi Murkoff. Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Rock, Anna Kendrick, Elizabeth Banks, Dennis Quaid, Glee's Matthew Morrison and many more star in the film which follows five different couples expecting the arrival of a child in their lives. There's barely a chuckle in this trailer, even with Rob Huebel and Thomas Lennon.
Here's the trailer for Kirk Jones' What to Expect When You're Expecting from Yahoo! Movies:
Kirk Jones (Everybody's Fine, Waking Ned Devine) directs What to Expect What You're Expecting, written by Shauna Cross (Whip It) and Heather Hach (Freaky Friday) adapted from the best-selling pregnancy instructional book of the same name. The film follows five couples dealing with the arrival of a child including Rosie (Anna Kendrick), a woman who reunites with an old flame and fellow food-truck owner and becomes pregnant, and Brooklyn Decker as the perky wife of a much older man who sails through her pregnancy with twins, much to the chagrin of her friends. Lionsgate releases the film on May 11th, 2012.

Aren't movies classified as entertainment? I thought this looked cute.

You all obviously have not been through a pregnancy or spent much time around children. I thought this entire preview was enjoyable. The cheese factor wasn't even all that high either. Looked a bit like Love Actually but with babies, and less cheesy.

I have quite recently actually, my wife laughed hysterically because she "wanted to punch me in the face" through the entire pregnancy hahaha

"You all obviously have not been through a pregnancy or spent much time around children." You're saying that would have made watching this any less mind numbingly dull?...

Looks funny enough. One thing about these films is that in society today, people see children as a burden, maybe because people are a lot more selfish with their time these days. It's not like humans have been having children for that long right? But yeap, I can relate to a lot of the stuff in there, I remember the first time my son drank paint, lucky it was only a mouthful of waterbased house paint, but having my wife screaming on the other end of the phone thinking he was going to die while she had his face under the tap.

"I remember the FIRST time my son drank paint..." So is this an ongoing thing? 😉

Cameron Diaz looks older than JLo who is 5 years older than her. Cameron looks too old to get pregnant. And Matthew Morrison, OMG ... he is just so cocky!

The above comments indicate that once you get married and have kids, you completely lose your sense of humor, and the ability to differentiate between absolutely mind-numbing junk and worthy watching.
