Emily Browning & Kristen Stewart in 'Snow White & the Huntsman'?

Yesterday we found out Universal had found their titular male lead for their gestating re-telling of the classic fairytale Snow White and the Huntsman. With Viggo Mortensen in place to assist Snow White and Charlize Theron in line to terrorize her, the fairytale beauty has yet to be cast. When news of Mortensen's casting surfaced yesterday, it was said Universal was interested in finding a fresh face in the way Paramount found young Hailee Steinfeld for True Grit. Well apparently Deadline and THR have some new information that pegs Emily Browning (Sucker Punch) and Kirsten Stewart (The Twilight Saga) as the contenders.
Apparently Emily Browning just tested last week for the lead role but many have pegged Kristen Stewart to be the top choice. If Universal is looking for a huge audience then Stewart is obviously the way to go. Of course, Browning looks to make a big splash in Sucker Punch when it's released in March. Personally, I'd be much more interested in seeing Browning take on a big role like this. With all the Twilight hype I'm kind of had my fill of Stewart, even if she shows considerable talent well above the quality of the franchise that launched her career. What do you think?

I think I'd rather see Kristen do a movie like this, since she tends to do indie movies most of the time. (besides the Twilight stuff)

Browning looks like a walking talking cartoon/anime character, imo. Just look at her face, or better yet, look at her face in the Sucker Punch pictures and trailers. She has the round face, big Disney eyes and full lips of Snow White already.

i just went from extremely pumped about this film with viggo mortensen to completely uninterested in it if Kristen Stewart is cast in any role in this film. she is a joke of an actress and not worth my time or money

I heard that the script called for fighting and was a darker version of the tale of Snow White. NO DISNEY FLUFF PLEASE! If this is the case, Kristen should play Snow White. What best way to shake things up than with a tough chick like her! Plus, she's hott!!!

Emily can actually act so she would be the much better choice. As for appearance, doesn't the story state that Snow White has dark hair and pale skin and rosy cheeks?

Browning is beautiful beyond all belief. It should be her. Kristen Stewart looks like shit when you sit her beside Browning. Browning has more experience in darker - more depressing movies anyway.

Sure that now when the movie is out, they wish that they hired Emily...but I don't think that would be nice for the director...besides he fucked Kristen behing his wife's back so...
