Ewan McGregor & Eva Green in the First Trailer for 'Perfect Sense'

Without love there is nothing. One of the many films premiering at Sundance 2011 this week is one called Perfect Sense, a romantic "thriller" of sorts staring Ewan McGregor and Eva Green. Like many films at the fest, we don't know much about this, but MTV debuted a trailer for it and it looks outstanding, so much so that I had to stop watching (so as to not ruin any of it). The concept involves "what it means to love and be loved in these turbulent times." It looks like a charming romance about two people who do find love in these otherwise crazy times. This looks gorgeously shot and riveting for a romance. Can't wait to see this.

Falling in love isn't the easiest thing in the world, especially when that world is coming apart at the seams.
Perfect Sense is directed by British director David Mackenzie, who previously directed Spread, Hallam Foe, Asylum, Young Adam and The Last Great Wilderness. The screenplay was written by award winning Danish writer Kim Fupz Aakeson, of films like Okay, In Your Hands, Pure Hearts, Little Soldier and A Somewhat Gentle Man previously. This will premiere at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival later this month, where it will also be looking for a distributor. We'll let you know if we're able to catch this at the festival in the next week!

Looks good! I wonder, though, when did you stop watching? Because the tone of the trailer changes (at about 1:20), and you're expectations might be inaccurate if you stopped too early...

Looks strange and interesting. I'll be curious to see what kind of reviews this gets because just watching the trailer its really hard to tell if its something I want to see.

Yeah, I was much more interested in the movie that was in the first half of the trailer than the movie that was in the second half...

Seems like this is more than just a romance flick. Great trailer because it has left mystery to what is happening around their romance. Will definitely see.

Mc Gregor and Eva...OMG, that's 2 of my fav.. I love this already! And they kiss!! OMG I love it! that's what I'm talking about 2 hotties together not that Di caprio and Mulligan trash which is coming. Dicaprio, you can still flee from it ! remember, you're box office gold and with Inception, you are everywhere... Flee before the movie is made and you will save us some trash!

It has Ewen Bremner in it, he's always decent, apart from that it looked a bit emo, all throwing furniture about. Who really gets that upset about a relationship apart from mental cases?

I think that was filmed in Edinburgh! my home town, quite chuffed! And good to see mcgregor with his own accent, as he CANNOT ACT WITH AN ACCENT! but is great with his own, fact!!! also love eva greens accent, please never change it hunny!
