Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World Trailer

"Hello children, I am a spy." Have fun with this. A new trailer for Robert Rodriguez's Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World has hit the web online, thanks to SpoilerTV (via SlashFilm/Collider). This time, this sequel stars Jessica Alba as the "mom", as well as Antonio Banderas, Danny Trejo, Jeremy Piven, Joel McHale and Ricky Gervais as the voice of Argonaut. This actually looks kind of crazy insane with all the time-keeper effects and giant, cartoony 3D fights everywhere, as we can usually expect when Rodriguez makes kids movies, but I'm still not sure if I even want to see it. Check out the first trailer below. It's in 4D?

A mom returns to her old profession - she's a retired spy - in order to catch a villain bent on stopping time.

Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World is once again both written and directed by Texan filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, who directed and wrote the first three Spy Kids movies, last ending with Spy Kids 3-D in 2003. He's also directed The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Desperado and Planet Terror. Produced by Troublemaker Studios and Dimension Films, The Weinstein Company is releasing Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World in theaters starting August 19th late in summer. Anyone?

For his kids. The story for Shark Boy and Lava Girl was actually written by one of them.

It looks like some direct to dvd chinese-japanese-korean crazy robot with hollywood-looks staring kids movie I would never believed is done by Rodriguez.

So I basically watched the whole film already? The cast is great (mostly). I'm happy with them not showing that fugly British "comedian" but the dog instead. I would prefer it though if Rodriguez went back and did movies like The Faculty or continued Machete..

Davide Coppola on May 31, 2011

Machete was actually a continuation of Spy Kids sort of. Machete is the original Spy Kids Uncle in those movies.

im going to see this with my kids just for the sheer oddity of hearing gervais' voice amongst a strange, insane kids plot.

I've been waiting for 6 years to watch sin city 2 and he decided he needs to make this trash?....*sigh*.....where the hell is Stallone?

Rodriguez needs to show he's still a money maker before anyone's gonna give him a budget for that.

Hope the movie is better than the trailer.

this is basically just a paycheck, albeit an embarrassing one, for Alba, McHale, Gervais.  How depressing it must be for the original spy kids couldn't get any other jobs except cameos in this?

The original boy actor has actually found work else where. But the girl? Yeah, no. She's probably been eating top ramen since 2003.

I think this an inside joke by Rodriguez on how far he can take an absurd creation and turn it into a money-making success. Well played Sir, well played.... Now get your arse back to Sin City 2!

WTF is 4D? Are they introducing time travel in movie going experience. Like watch this 2 hour movie, it'll only take 5 mins of your time.
