First Look: Alicia Silverstone and Others in Amy Heckerling's 'Vamps'
Back in November of 2009 we heard Clueless writer/director Amy Heckerling was making a romantic comedy with vampires called Vamps. The film already had She's Out of My League star Krysten Ritter signed, and later we learned Alicia Silverstone would be reuniting with the filmmaker as one of the titular bloodsuckers. Now we have our first look at the sexy vampiric duo in Heckerling's seemingly light take on life and romance as a vampire. In addition, there's also a sultry shot of Sigourney Weaver (also a vampire), and this looks like a fun film that could shake things up in a saturated market of vampires.
Here's the first images from Vamps courtesy of the film's Facebook page:
Stacy (Ritter) and Goody (Silverstone) have been living the good night-life as two young and beautiful vampires until love gets in the picture and each has to make a choice that will jeopardize their immortality and maybe much more. If this has the bubbly fun of Clueless with the tongue-in-cheek, horror fare of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, then this just might be a vampire film worth checking out. If anyone can make this work, its Heckerling, who has easily captured the voice of a generation with films like Clueless and Fast Times at Ridgmont High. You can see more photos and an extensive spoiler-filled plot description at the film's official Facebook page. Looking good?

Lots of promise here. Clueless is great up there with Mean Girls and Easy A. Ritter was excellent in Breaking Bad and they got the uncle from Weeds. Pending trailer and reviews, Im in.

I'm thrilled to see Amy Heckerling again (I have not forgiven her for "Loser" yet), & the fact that this puts her with Alicia Silverstone again excites me GREATLY - but does it have to be about vampires?

What was the name of that Jim carrey movie where he was enchanted by the vampire? This for some reason brought those memories back

That wasn't Jim Carey, it was the dude from "House." You mean the 80s movie where he slowly starts to become a vamp?

Nah, he was like an ice cream driver and Laurence hutten? Was the vamp queen.
