Back in July we learned about the official production start of Imogene, new indie comedy from "Saturday Night Live" and Bridesmaids star Kristen Wiig. The comedienne is producing and starring in the story of a moderately successful New York playwright (Wiig) who fakes a suicide attempt in order to win back her ex-boyfriend, only to be under the custody of her mother (Annette Bening), an obnoxious gambler. Now we have our first look at some photos from the film, and it looks like Bening is going to be having a lot of fun with this one. Also "Glee" star Darren Criss can be spotted doing some singing. See the photos below!
All images removed at the request of the production. I guess they don't want anyone to care about this little film, sorry everyone!
Cinema Verite directors Shari Springer BermanĀ and Robert Pulcini are at the helm of this indie comedy from writer Michelle Morgan (Middle of Nowhere). Kristen Wiig produces and also stars as a moderately successful New York playwright who fakes a suicide attempt in order to win back her ex-boyfriend, only to be under the custody of her mother (Annette Bening), an obnoxious and compulsive gambler. Making things even more complicated is the arrival of a crazed suitor (Matt Dillon) for her mother, who claims he's in the CIA. "Glee" star Darren Criss also stars in the film which currently has no release date. Stay tuned.
