First Teaser Trailer for Medusa, the Car in Evan Glodell's 'Bellflower'
Oscilloscope has unveiled a very short, very pointless teaser trailer for Evan Glodell's Bellflower, one of the big break-out indies from Sundance this year. The teaser only focuses on the car from the film called Medusa that yes, while they built it specifically for this and it shoots flames, isn't really even in it that much. I actually agree with Badass Digest about this being "misleading marketing" in quite a big way. Bellflower has been gaining buzz since Jeremy loved it at SXSW, though I saw it at Sundance and wasn't that big of a fan. That said, if this kind of crazy apocalyptic cinema interests you, then you'll totally love this!
Watch the first teaser trailer for Evan Glodell's Bellflower:
Two friends spend all their free time building flame-throwers and weapons of mass destruction in hopes that a global apocalypse might occur and clear the runways for their imaginary gang, "Mother Medusa."
Bellflower was written, directed, co-produced and edited by filmmaker Evan Glodell, and although he stars in it as well, thankfully the cinematographer was Joel Hodge, who brought a fantastically unique edge to it by using homemade camera systems. This premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this year and was picked up by Oscilloscope Labs. Bellflower is currently set for a release starting on August 12th late this summer.

The teaser is pointless but I love muscle cars. I hope this is better than Death Proof.

This looks bad ass. I've read nothing but rave reviews for this movie, and I can't wait to see it. Seems like a fresh new take on a stale genre. Love the idea, and love the setting. I'm also excited for this because I've read that the budget for this movie was extremely indie, below $1 million even, and am curious to see how it looks.
