Damn you Woody Allen! You make your movies irresistible. Or specifically, you make the women in your movies irresistible. If you didn't already love Rachel McAdams, you're going to really fall in love with her watching this. Sony Pictures Classics has debuted the first official trailer on Yahoo for Woody Allen's latest film, Midnight in Paris, which will be opening the Cannes Film Festival in May. In addition to McAdams, the stellar ensemble cast for this includes Owen Wilson, Michael Sheen, Marion Cotillard, Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody, Tom Hiddleston and Léa Seydoux. This actually looks quite good, check it out.
Watch the first official trailer for Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris from YouTube:
"Midnight in Paris is a wonderful love letter to Paris", declared Festival director Thierry Frémaux in the press release. "It’s a film in which Woody Allen takes a deeper look at the issues raised in his last films: our relationship with history, art, pleasure and life. His 41st feature reveals once again his inspiration." You may also remember it was officially announced that Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris will be the opening film of the upcoming 64th Cannes Film Festival this summer. As always, I'm not sure what to expect with every new Woody Allen movie, but at least they're starting off quite well. Sony Classics is releasing on May 20th.

Woody Allen is something like a cinematic force by himself. Other guys his age are resting and taking care of their grandchildrens, while Allen is making one film after another. A little formulaic? Maybe, but it's a formula we all like...

I thought the same thing too trip, but I'm also confused as to why Wilson is wandering off. If I had McAdams for a wife (not to mention the blonde hair is a nice touch), I don't think we'd leave the bedroom. But I'm not seeing the thing Alex is. Allen didn't have any sexy shots of her that I could tell.

(Insert questionable joke about sexual orientation here) ;p But in all seriousness, I guess McAdams is so lovely that Alex was just happy to see a trailer full of her!

Maybe all three of you need to see the actual movie before you pronounce on it.

If I'm not mistaken, this reunites the two from Wedding Crashers.

I'm not really a Woody Allen fan but I just might check this out. Love McAdams and Cotillard, plus it actually looks interesting.

It looks terrible. Looks "Deja Vu". And the worst : it's not Paris today that we see, but Woody Allen's stereotype Paris, full of clichés from the XXth century. Plus, Gad Elmaleh and Carla Bruni can't act, not mentioning Cotillard !! who want to see Edith Piaf again lol

Yep, too true Cedric, definitely not the Paris I remember, no graffiti at all in the trailer, Paris is covered in it. Possibly if you are oblivious to it and pay a lot of money you can have a Paris like this maybe?

I hate Owen Wilson. Allen shouldn't have picked him with such a stellar cast.

I don't like every Allen film, but the ones I do like I end up loving. This one is definitely the Allen formula, but there is a special appeal to it because of the actors he's choosen. I will watch this in one form or another (Blu ray, or theater).

I'm very surprised here... When I heard Owen was cast... I expected him to be doing the same mistake as Will Ferrel, Kenneth Branagh, and others as to play the Allen Person as Allen would ... but he makes it his own ... Might be the first time I'm shocked by Mr Wilson.
