Four New Blood-Splattered 'Fright Night' Character Posters Revealed

We've seen a couple trailers for the forthcoming release of the comedy-horror remake Fright Night starring Anton Yelchin and Colin Farrell, and I have to say that I'm pretty interested to see how it turns out. Though it looks a little darker than I anticipated, I feel like this remake could actually land on its feet. With the August release inching closer, the hype machine is turning up a bit with four new character banners for the film. They're not exactly fantastic posters, but they do offer another cool glimpse of David Tennant toting a shotgun, and even Imogen Poots looks like a bad-ass. Check out all four posters below!
Here's the posters courtesy of Empire (click for larger versions):
Senior Charlie Brewster (Yelchin) finally has it all going on. He's running with the popular crowd and dating the most coveted girl in his high school. In fact, he's so cool he's even dissing his best friend. But trouble arrives when Jerry (Farrell) moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there's something not quite right—but everyone, including Charlie's mom (Toni Collette), doesn't notice. After observing some very strange activity, Charlie comes to an unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire preying on the neighborhood. Unable to convince anyone, Charlie has to find a way to get rid of the monster himself in this Craig Gillespie-helmed revamp of the comedy-horror classic. Fright Night will hit theaters on August 19th.

is that right "his neighboorhood is killer" or is a killer?

yeah, I think they're going for slang on this one, ie, "He's got a killer pad, man!"

There is something about a girl holding the axe that is very appealing.

I like them, except for the cheesy one-liners. If they really had to be there did they have to be so predominant??

Pick a way to market the movie and stick with it. The trailers do not coincide with these awfully campy posters.
