Full Theatrical Trailer for Comedy 'Our Idiot Brother' with Paul Rudd

"You said your door was always open…!" The Weinstein Co. has debuted the official theatrical trailer via Yahoo for the indie comedy Our Idiot Brother (formerly My Idiot Brother) starring Paul Rudd as Ned, the "idiot" brother who moves in with his three sisters after he gets busted. And those sisters are: Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel & Emily Mortimer, plus Rashida Jones. This looks quite good, it plays off of some appropriately idiotic humor, but it looks funny. I've heard mixed-to-good things about this from Sundance, and our Ethan liked it quite a bit, so check it out. "Our idiot brother just ruined my freakin' life!"

A comedy centered on an idealist (Rudd) who barges into the lives of his three sisters when he gets busted.
Our Idiot Brother was directed by filmmaker Jesse Peretz, former member of The Lemonheads and director of a few films previously like First Love Last Rites, The Château, and The Ex, as well as work on "Important Things with Demetri Martin". The screenplay was written by newcomers David Schisgall & Evgenia Peretz. This premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this year and was acquired by The Weinstein Company. They're bringing Our Idiot Brother to theaters starting August 26th this summer. Looks good, doesn't it?

Wow, I agree with how good it looks as well. I was really impressed with this trailer, when in fact I had sort of written off the movie based on the premise. I am more impressed, though, with the so-far unanimous accolades being given on this board. Think they're on to something here...
