"You're about to be robbed!" IFC Films has debuted an official trailer via Yahoo for indie action flick Flypaper from director Rob Minkoff. The film is set in a bank that is being robbed by two groups at the same time; two of them are babbling idiots with a shotgun and C4, the others are professional con-men, and they all butt heads of course. The cast includes Patrick Dempsey, Ashley Judd, Tim Blake Nelson, Mekhi Phifer and Jeffrey Tambor. I'm familiar with this because I saw it at Sundance earlier this year, but didn't care for it one bit. It's just so cheesy, so bland, and very forgettable, but have fun with this trailer!

A man caught in the middle of two robberies at the same bank tries to protect the teller he is in love with.
Flypaper is directed by Hollywood filmmaker Rob Minkoff, who previously directed Disney's The Lion King, Stuart Little 1 & 2, The Haunted Mansion and The Forbidden Kingdom. The script was written by Jon Lucas & Scott Moore, the duo behind Rebound, Four Christmases, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, The Hangover and The Change-Up. This premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year as a late addition. IFC Films will be releasing Flypaper in limited theaters starting on July 15th this summer as well as VOD before that.

Boring. Who's the director? Because I do not want to be wasting my time seeing any of his other films.

Why can't somebody just remake Michael Mann's "Thief" from about thirty years back? Or, Michael Mann could do it himself - with James Caan of course. Now, that would rock.
