Harrelson, Tucci and Kravitz All Offered Roles in 'The Hunger Games'

While many unknown talents are still filling out the districts in competition for The Hunger Games, other big names like Elizabeth Banks and maybe John C. Reilly have entered the mix for roles in the anticipated adaptation. Now three more additions to the cast have been discovered, or at least offers for their casting have come to the surface, with Vulture reporting Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci and Lenny Kravitz could all join the cast. Apparently Harrelson has been offered the role of Head Gamemaker Seneca Crane, the man who created the brutal games within the story. As for Tucci/Kravitz's roles, they remain unknown.
Vulture speculates that Tucci might work out for the character Cinna or maybe even President Snow. Since I haven't read the books, unfortunately none of these character names mean anything to me at all. As far as Kravitz's potential character, no one seems to have any good guesses. Either way, it sounds like quite an impressive ensemble cast is being built around young leads Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth for an adaptation that should rake in plenty of bank at the box office when it hits theaters in March of 2012. We've still got more casting to report, so stay tuned. Thoughts on this latest casting?

guessing kravitz might be flavius.... one of cinna's assistants. he has "orange corkscrew curls" or something along those lines... sounds like kravitz to me

Kravitz could be Ceasar Flickerman, but I'm not sure if he has a talk show host personality.

The cast just get worse and worse. Sure they are some good name. But srly John C. Reilly as Haymitch?? that just make my heart bleed.

Stanley Tucci is a remarkably talented man. I would love to see him as either Cinna or President Snow - Alex - Cinna is a flamboyant gay man who is in charge of "dressing" Katniss / Peeta before the Hunger Games. He has a major role & turns into an ally for Katniss (Hard to describe. Read the damn books!). President Snow is a horrible man, who gets ahead by blackmailing people, he's horrendous. In all honesty I could see Tucci taking either of these roles - I'm pulling for Cinna, simply because I like the character a lot. Though he'd make an excellent Snow (proven by a great performance in the let-down "The Lovely Bones.") No idea what they could be doing with Kravitz.
