Delight in the Depravity! In honor of Fantastic Fest, the premiere genre film fest, taking place in Austin this weekend, today's indie trailer is for an anthology horror cult feature called Chillerama. You may have heard of this already, as it features four rare never-before-seen prints of films by: Adam Rifkin (Detroit Rock City), Tim Sullivan (2001 Maniacs), Adam Green (Frozen), and Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2), or rather, four awesome throwback drive-in horror cult classics, directed by each of those four directors. This looks like a lot of old school horror fun, and there's a nifty poster to go along with it. Highly suggest viewing!
Watch the official trailer for the Chillerama anthology horror feature, via YouTube:
In the spirit of classic anthology films like Creepshow and Twilight Zone: The Movie and containing films that not only celebrate the golden age of drive-in B horror shlock but also span over four decades of cinema, Chillerama offers something for every bad taste. With titles like Wadzilla (dir. Adam Rifkin), I Was a Teenage Werebear (dir. Tim Sullivan), Diary of Anne Frankenstein (dir. Adam Green), and Zom-B-Movie (dir. Joe Lynch) and featuring appearances by Joel David Moore (Avatar), Lin Shaye (Insidious), Ray Wise (X-Men: First Class), Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th), Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight) and more cameos than you can count, Chillerama is sure to have you screaming for more. Image Entertainment is releasing this straight to DVD/Blu-Ray starting November 29th. For more info, visit the film's official website here.

The sad thing is, there are actually HUNDREDS of movies like this already out there that were made since the 1950's that are exactly like these. Except that they (the old ones) were made to be taken seriously. I'm not saying that this over-the-top parody doesn't look funny, but watching a bad movie that wasn't intended to be comical is MUCH funnier.

Agreed but still looks like it'd be fun only in small doses. Good thing these are segments otherwise I see it getting old real fast like Hobo With A Shotgun. Disclaimer: I know a lot of people dug it and it had its moments but that got painful after while.

Looks like crap... no cool factor to it. These dudes don't have anything on Rodriguez and Tarantino

Gotta disagree here. Rodriguez and Tarantino are both WAY overrated. And Adam Rifkin rocks!

Tarantino and Rodriguez (minus the spy kids films) are legends. If anything, their films have been hella underrated. Adam rifkin... you mean the guy who made underdog??? and knucklehead. nah. they should have got Tarantino, Rodriguez, Roth, Zombie, and Wright, and Aja for this one
