Before many of today's biggest talents on the silver screen became movie stars, they were just struggling actors looking to make a name for themselves. Many times their early appearances go largely unnoticed or become forgotten moments on film. Thanks to the wonder of the internet and its inability to forget anything, we're pleased to bring your attention to Before They Were Famous: 25 Actors in 3 Minutes, a video compilation that features some of the earliest appearances of some of today's most recognized actors. You'll recognize young faces of Jack Black, Jake Gyllenhaal, Seth Rogen, Harrison Ford and many others.

Flashing back to material like this is such a refreshing and entertaining blast from the past. Considering the high profiles and stellar quality of work that many of these stars have turned in since making it big and knowing that their career blossomed from some of the scenes displayed above is truly impressive. I think my personal favorite is Daniel Craig making an appearance in A Kid in King Arthur's Court or Ryan Gosling in one of my favorite childhood shows "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" But it gets hard to beat Jack Black leading a leather jacket-clad gang in The Neverending Story III. Good times. Which are your favorite?

Awesome video but they fail in using parts where the actors had even earlier parts. Natalie Portman was the most obvious 'cause everyone knows her with Leon...The Professional.

Daniel Craig in A Kid in King Arthur's Court was the most surprising. I've seen that movie a bunch of times (it use to come on channel 11 on Sunday mornings) never realized that was him, must be the doofy looking haircut.

Um, Darby O'Gill and the Little People (the Sean Connery one) didn't do too bad in the box office. Sean Connery also didn't have a SMALL role in that, he had a featured part.
