Joseph Gordon-Levitt in Premium Rush

Briefly: A release update that might interest a few of you. Sony/Columbia has rescheduled David Koepp's Premium Rush, the bike messenger "action movie" starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt (trailer), to a late summer August 24th, 2012 release instead of the originally planned January 13. I always felt that was an odd spot, especially after seeing the trailer, it fits better in the summer. It just sucks that we have to wait another 8 months, I really wanted to see this! Also stars Michael Shannon, Jamie Chung, Dania Ramirez and Aasif Mandvi, written and directed by David Koepp. As of this moment, nothing else is set for the 24th.

Exactly my thoughts as well. This has happened in the past with other movies that star actors that are about to be in big Nolan films. Warrior was finished filming in 2009 but they waited to realease it until this year because they thought inception would make Tom Hardy more of a household name.

don't understand the facination with this guy, nobody on here talks about how he knocked your socks off with The Juror or GI-JOE. Ya i saw Inception ,500 days of summer but i didn't DVR or buy the Blu-Ray. I just don't get it , it comes along like some creepy man-crush.

Have you seen Manic, Brick, Mysterious Skin or The Lookout?

Yeah he hasn't knocked my socks off in every movie...but he has some great performances, and I have never seen him be outright atrocious. He does good solid projects that are always watchable. GI Joe was entertaining, but come on did anyone except an oscar worthy movie from a kids toy franchise? Watch the Lookout. One of the most interesting and underrated movies in the last ten years or so.

You should see this guy in Brick. Or Mysterious Skin. Give him good material to work with and he'll nail it every time.
