Kevin Smith: Live from Behind

In today's age of advance technology, it's fantastic that cinephiles have the chance to partake in special events that otherwise would be limited to the those in the vicinity. Yet another one of these opportunities has surfaced in the form of Kevin Smith: Live from Behind, a one night only event from NCM Fathom and AK27 on Thursday, February 2nd at 9:30/8:30c. And for those who know just how much Smith likes to talk, it's no surprise that the event will last three hours and begins with a recording of his podcast Jay and Silent Bob Get Old along with his friend and longtime collaborator Jason Mewes. More below!

Who knows that the duo will talk about on stage, but the real kicker will be a live, fan-generated Q&A where the theater audiences from across the country will be able to submit questions and interact through various social media networks. Special note for our Alaskan and Hawaiian friends, the show will start at 9:30pm your time. Even though Smith can run off at the mouth from time-to-time, especially on Twitter, the guy always has some cool stories and an interesting perspective on the entertainment industry, so it's always fun to hear him talk the night away. Tickets and locations can be found at

I went to a Red State screening where Smith answered questions from various theaters across the country via twitter and a live feed... all I have to say is that I'm not a fan of this format.

There is also a contest where you ask a question via video. If selected it will appear on screen and you’ll get an event poster signed by Kevin and Jason.
