Roadside Attractions has debuted the official trailer on Apple for The Music Never Stopped, a Sundance film which received mixed reviews, but didn't come out of the fest with much buzz. Lou Taylor Pucci stars as Gabriel Sawyer, estranged son of Henry (J.K. Simmons), and suffers from a brain tumor that prevents him from forming new memories. With Gabriel now unable to shed the beliefs and interests that caused an emotional distance, Henry must embrace his son's choices and try to connect with him through music. This is based on a real case study and it looks very heartwarming and inspiring. Watch the official trailer below!

Chronicles the journey of a father & son adjusting to trauma and a lifetime of missed opportunities. With music that embodied the 1960s, and therapist Dianne Daly, it weaves the progress of Henry and Gabriel.
The Music Never Stopped is directed by first-time filmmaker and former producer Jim Kohlberg. The script was written by first-timers Gwyn Lurie & Gary Marks. It's based on the case study "The Last Hippie" by Dr. Oliver Sacks. This just premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was picked up by Roadside Attractions. They're bringing The Music Never Stopped to limited theaters starting on March 11th. Anyone interested?
