Michael Caine Will Reunite with Morgan Freeman in 'Now You See Me'
by Ethan Anderton
November 1, 2011
By the time the summer of 2012 rolls around and The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters (don't forget about that six-minute prologue in 70mm IMAX screenings of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol) actors Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman will have appeared in all of Christopher Nolan's Batman films. However, the duo will get a chance to reunite again with The Playlist confirming a report from Moviehole that Caine has landed a role in the magician heist film Now You See Me. Freeman already found himself added back in August as an ex-magician who has made a career out of exposing other magicians' illusions.
The film follows a team of FBI agents against the Four Horsemen, a squad of the world's greatest illusionists who pull off a series of daring bank heists during their performances, then shower the profits on their audiences. The film's cast is already impressive with the likes of Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher, Melanie Laurent, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco joining Freeman and Caine in the film. As for the most recent addition, the British actor is taking the role of Arthur Tressler who sponsors the team of Robin Hood-like magician thieves. Louis Leterrier is behind the film that already has my complete attention.
