David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

"This is really gunna hurt…" The more we see, the better this looks and the more excited I get. I caught this TV spot last night and its turned up online thanks to ComingSoon. Another new 60-second long TV spot for David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo has started airing and it's focused more on Lisbeth Salander, played incredibly well by Rooney Mara, then delves back into the mystery storyline with Daniel Craig and Christopher Plummer. This isn't the first TV spot that we've featured or that's airing, but it's a damn good one, showing how Fincher can take just about any story and make it look even more compelling.

Watch the new 60 sec. TV spot for David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, via YouTube:

A journalist is aided in his search for a woman who'd been missing, or dead, for forty years, by a young female hacker, played in this one by Rooney Mara. Based on Stieg Larsson's Millennium series of novels.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is directed by Oscar nominated filmmaker David Fincher, of great films like Se7en, The Game, Fight Club, Panic Room, Zodiac, Benjamin Botton and The Social Network just last year. The script was adapted by Oscar winning screenwriter Steven Zaillian (Schindler's List, Hannibal, Gangs of New York, All the King's Men, American Gangster) directly from Larsson's novel. Sony is bringing Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to theaters on December 21st, right before Christmas. Feel bad this holiday.

Wha? For the logo at the end you mean? I think it's fine, pretty damn cool even, fits perfectly for this, I like it.

Or maybe not terrible, but...

Fontwise it looks like it could have came from here: http://www.misprintedtype.com/v4/ The lazy graphic designers haven since 2001. But since Fincher gave birth to a style that was original in in the 'print' world at last hjsdvjsakdvjhvlhfvhdsfsvdfhvjhsvfdsffvjdh drrrruuuuuunk/ddd
