Must Watch: Awesome 'The Muppets' Trailer Riffs on 'Dragon Tattoo'
"But one trailer made us stop 'Dragon' our feet." Hahaha yes, this is just brilliant! Disney has unveiled their latest parody trailer for The Muppets, following up The Fuzzy Pack (The Hangover), Being Green (Green Lantern) and Kermit's Green With Envy (first teaser). This time they're riffing on that first The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trailer with a teaser called The Pig With The Froggy Tattoo, that has plenty of random Muppets scenes and that bold flashing text that, in this, is packed with tons of self-referencing jokes. Oh and they even wrote their own cover song, too. I totally love these trailers, this is hilarious. Enjoy!
Watch the new trailer for
The Muppets, or I mean, The Pig With The Froggy Tattoo:
James Bobin ("Flight of the Conchords") is at the helm of this new Muppets movie, which follows Walter and Gary (Segel), two die-hard Muppet fans and roommates who must save Muppet Theater by reuniting Kermit, Piggy, and the entire troupe to stage an "old-fashioned extravaganza." The cast is full of all kinds of celebrity cameos and other great random appearances, including Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Rashida Jones, Zach Galifianakis, Ricky Gervais, Alan Arkin and Billy Crystal. Shooting is already finished, and Disney is bringing The Muppets to theaters starting November 23rd this Thanksgiving. It's almost here, can't wait!

Would not have been interested in seeing this movie if it weren't for these trailers. Nicely done.

These stupid trailers are just desperate. It's like an extended Oscar's segment that never ends. I hope this movie fails. Jim Henson deserves better than this.
