"Oh how I've missed you Holmes." Hell yes, he's back! Warner Bros has debuted the first full-length trailer on Apple for Guy Ritchie's sequel Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, once again starring Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes and Jude Law as Dr. Watson. This looks awesome, it's so great to be back in this world! In addition to those two, we're introduced to Noomi Rapace as "Sim" and of course, Holmes' nemesis Professor Moriarty, played by Jared Harris. There are some awesome-looking action scenes in this, from the train to the forest. I'm pumped, this looks like it'll be a fantastic follow-up to this first movie!

Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick Dr. John Watson join forces to outwit and bring down their fiercest adversary, Professor Moriarty, in this sequel to Lionel Wigram's new take on Sherlock Holmes from 2009.
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows is again directed by British filmmaker Guy Ritchie, of Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Revolver, RocknRolla, and the first Sherlock Holmes. The screenplay was written by husband & wife writers Kieran & Michele Mulroney, who wrote and directed the indie film Paper Man. Warner Bros and Silver Pictures are bringing Sherlock Holmes 2 to theaters starting December 16th.

That's what I'M sayin! But this does look awesome. I've heard so many negative things about the first one, but I thought it was brilliant! Ritchie rules. The end.

...Guy who cut the trailer for Sherlock Holmes "Hell, that's just use the exact same piece of trailer-music from the original and put it in this trailer" 😀

Introduced to Noomi Rapace? What about the three "The Girl Who..." movies? There are movies outside the "blockbuster" category.

This does look really good. I've been a huge fan of Robert Downey Jr. for a long time and I'll watch anything he's in. I'd love to see a sequal with he and Val Kilmer reteamed with Shane Black (after Iron Man 3 apparently) for Kiss Kiss Bang Bang BANG! I must admit I like the interplay between Downey and Law. Its a good buddy movie.
