Angels & Airwaves Love Trailer

Have you ever felt alone? What if you truly were? There is an absolutely breathtaking new trailer that you must stop and watch this weekend, as it came out of nowhere (well - Apple) and it's incredible. It's for an indie sci-fi film called Love, produced by Angels & Airwaves and directed by newcomer William Eubank that follows in the footsteps of Duncan Jones' Moon last year by focusing on one single astronaut, played by Gunner Wright, stuck in a space station. This one seems to have a lot more 2001-plus-The Fountain kind of epic visuals of the station and everything in between. But it looks so gorgeous and I really want to see it!

Check out the trailer below and if you're interested in getting more info, just visit AngelsandAirwaves.com.

Watch the first official trailer for William Eubank's Love:

You can also watch the trailer for Love in High Definition on Apple

After losing contact with Earth, astronaut Lee Miller (Gunner Wright) becomes stranded in orbit aboard the Space Station. As time passes and life support systems dwindle, Lee battles to maintain his sanity - and simply stay alive. His world is a claustrophobic and lonely existence… until he makes a strange discovery.

Love is written and directed by up-and-coming filmmaker William Eubank, a cinematographer making his feature directorial debut with this film. In addition to writing & directing, he was also cinematographer and production designer. It was produced by and has a score by Angels & Airwaves. This is premiering at the Santa Barbara Film Festival in a few weeks but doesn't have a US distributor yet. Stay tuned for more info!

Beautiful Trailer ruined by terrible music...

WHAT? That music made the trailer... to me, at least.

You'd probably like it more if Justin Bieber scored the film.

As much as I despise Angels and Airwaves, I might give this a chance.

8

I'm waiting for this for almost 2 years. I liked the first trailer much more. Most probably because of the musical choices, the first song fitted much better, MUCH BETTER

This film looks epic! its going to be amazing!

I don't think I've ever heard of a band producing a movie. I hope Angels & Airwaves surprise me by creating a great score, but the moment they're not a band I would get excited for.

Pink Floyd did "The Wall" movie.

Anonymous on Jan 15, 2011

That's true. I guess I didn't think of that because it's not the most conventional movie.

Spice Girls did Spice World.;)

I have not seen this movie. Nor am I a fan of the spice Girls, but due to an excessive general vibe of pretentious jackasses I am incredibly glad you brought this piece of information the discussion! Thank you, Jism!    Im not joking, seriously, thank you.

I have to admit this looks interesting, although I hate trailers that don't give you the slightest clue as to what the film is about.

Wow! This is going to be a weird movie... but that might be a good thing.

that looks amazing and i really liked the music. sadly as long as Toms voice isn't involved in the sound track i think it will sound as great as this looks

Well that certainly wouldn't make it any more watchable. *shrug*

Sloooooow mooooootion. I think this movie is going to ooze with sentiment and that's not my sort of thing. The visuals are awesome though. Maybe I'll see it just for those. Also, I got a Tron: Legacy vibe from the music, especially with the final title reveal.

This movie has been in development for years. Some background info, this is Tom Delonges project with AVA, also the guitarist for Blink 182. This movie was suppose to be out years ago. Glad to see it finally coming out. I did like the first trailer better though.

I thought they broke up.....what ever, movie looks great visually and the effects are surprisingly sharp and nice looking. I'm not a huge fan of AvA but I'll check this out.

Once we realize we live on a prison planet then the next step is to escape. Don't buy into the control fear dramas on this planet. It's your only way off this rock! Transform your fears in to love from the inside out!

"Does it bother you that we're not real?" How great is that line? Epic trailer, probably not so epic movie.

Steven Fivez on Jan 15, 2011

33

We are real the ones! There are those that want to control us, want us to think we aren't real, and are nothing. We are direct beings from God source, that radiates light beyond the stars! The your are an animal or you are from sin is to tell you you are nothing, to deny your true radiance. All the fallen programming on this planet is there to keep you believing you are not brilliant, radiant!

You are anchored here. You think you have one life here, your fear and suffering sends you back here. The real only way to stop your suffering is through spiritual ascension. The light within your soul will transport you off and away from from this planet to brighter and better existence somewhere else.

Dear Filmmakers, You're trailer is visually stunning and makes your movie look very interesting. I understand the score was by the band that produced the film, but please lower the music a little bit so we can hear the dialog next time. Thank you.

nice, some months ago a friend and I had a vers similiar story for a comic (we are comicartist). In our story the astronaut lost the contact to earth and at the end he finds out that he is the last human because all humans on earth killed themself (war). Maybe the movie has the same end. 🙂

That was the trailer for the documentary "Start the Machine", which was released in 2008. There are 3 trailers for the Movie "Love" (formerly titled I-Empire, like the bands second album.)

123 on Jan 16, 2011

61

Nice visuals, but it overall feels pretentious and so full of it. The music of the second half doesn't do it much justice either.

Dimitris on Jan 16, 2011

62

Trailer looks amazing but that band Angels and Airwaves suck beyond all comprehension!! The music in the trailer is not from that band and I sincerely hope they stick with that type of score as apposed to the crap that above mentioned band makes.

Tomi on Jan 16, 2011

63

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgDXnuHuCZ0&hd=1 here is the second trailer...It will give you a slightly better Idea about the movie

Tabanfar27 on Jan 16, 2011

64

Incorrect: the music in the trailer is by Angels and Airwaves and they did the score for the entire film.

Jay on Jan 16, 2011

65

fuck no they do not suck. The music is way better then blink. Their sound is so surreal and their lyrics are amazing just take the time to go over their I-empire CD. Tom has grown up sense is blink years and that is what his music is all about life and growing up

Umairb on Jan 17, 2011

66

Seriously. It always amazes me how Blink fans refuse to grow up, and they're pissed that Tom did. I have never seen a more immature fan base than Blink 182 fans.

Aitutaki88 on Feb 4, 2011

67

Wow that really does look awesome, gonna have to see this one for sure.

Right. The Fountain all over again.

The Fountain was sweet though.

I love AvA (Angels & Airwaves).... but their last album 'Love' was a disappointment. I hope the soundtrack to this film doesn't feature only songs from the same album.

Mithun Divakaran on Jan 17, 2011

71

i never listened to AvA. And i half grasp the concept of the film. but this trailer has completely captivated me. I do agree with the Fountain and 2001 feel of this film. Loved both films (2001 no matter how great it is to this day still bores the @#$% outta me) so i think i'll be able to really get into this.

Joe on Jan 18, 2011

72

awesome! cant wait for this film this is gonna be epic! GO AVA

Dave on Jan 19, 2011

73

The concept reminds me of "The Days Between" by Allen Steele. That was really a great story.

Greg on Jan 26, 2011

74

I agree with all who said the trailer looks amazing, but the music is TERRIBLE! A&A is sucksville!

Jacey Cockrobin on Jan 28, 2011

75

Pile on the cheese, sentiment, pseudo-philosophical dialogue, and soulless, slo-mo digital cinematography please! Dumb

Shaq on Jan 28, 2011

76

Yup i agree the trailer good picture and quality but i dont like their music too. i cant wit to watch this in original.

Andrea Bakurva on Jun 28, 2011

77

Great quality, didn't really mind the music, was more interested in the trailer itself 🙂 I'm really going to watch it when it comes out! P.S.: AVA is NOT Blink 182 v2 or Blink 182,2 or anything, Blink 182 is AVA v2 nowadays! (Compare the new releases of Blink 182 to AVA music and you'll know ;))
