'Oz: The Great and Powerful' Making Mila Kunis Into a Wicked Witch

We just recently found out that the busiest man in Hollywood, actor James Franco, was venturing into Oz as the great wizard for Sam Raimi's upcoming project Oz: The Great and Powerful. Now it sounds like we may have our Wicked Witch of the West, as Vulture has learned Mila Kunis (Black Swan, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) met with Raimi and Franco for the role, and all parties seem to have concluded that she's perfect for the part. Though the script has been kept under tight wraps, the story is said to follow the Wizard back when he was a young illusionist with a grandiose attitude who is forced to flee the traveling circus.
The story also contains the origins of both the Wicked Witch of the West and the Wicked Witch of the East, not to mention Glinda the Good Witch of the North. Apparently it was also the casting of Kunis in the role that truly convinced Franco to make his involvement official as well. Ironically enough, apparently Oz: The Great and Powerful pulled Kunis away from starring in the live-action adaptation of Akira, another film which has been looking to get Franco involved recently. Anyway, Kunis sounds like the perfect fit for a young Wicked Witch of the West, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. What do you guys think?
