Parties & Nothing More in Red Band 'Take Me Home Tonight' Trailer

Relativity has debuted a new red band trailer over on IGN for Take Me Home Tonight, the 80's comedy formerly known as Kids in America starring Topher Grace, the very lovely Teresa Palmer, Anna Faris and Dan Fogler, as well as Chris Pratt, Michelle Trachtenberg, Lucy Punch and Demetri Martin. I thought this took place mostly at a video store, but it looks like (and the synopsis also confirms) that it's set mostly at one out-of-control party. And with that, you know what this trailer contains: boobs, booze, bad mouthing and um, well, more of that. I don't think this needs any more of intro, just don't watch while you're at work.

Follows an aimless college grad (Grace) pursuing his dream girl at a wild Labor Day weekend party. He, his twin sister and their best friend struggle with their burgeoning adulthood over the course of the night.
Take Me Home Tonight is directed by Canadian filmmaker Michael Dowse, of indie comedy classics Fubar I & II and It's All Gone Pete Tong, as well as a few episodes of "The Foundation." The screenplay was written by Jackie Filgo & Jeff Filgo ("That 70s Show", Diary of a Wimpy Kid) from a story written by Topher Grace & Gordon Kaywin. Relativity Media is bringing Take Me Home Tonight to theaters starting on March 4th!

i usually don't go for these types of comedies - but i was a teen/college undergrad in the 80's and the party craziness reminds me of ohio state! it's also got a solid cast (why doesn't topher grace do more movies?) and cool 80's soundtrack with eddie moneys signature track as the name of the movie (god that's perfect - eddie is SO 80's). i'm in.

That blonde chick looks so much like Kristen Stewart in some shots it's crazy. I really like Topher Grace (I'm still watching That 70's Show whenever it's on tv and it still makes me laugh) and this looks like a lot of fun.

The movie industry seems to believe that anything 80's is so hip right now, except another comedy with a 2010 cast thrown into the 80's. Remember The Wedding Singer? pageboy said it best on imdb "You are a screenwriter and you come up with the title first from a song you just listened to on classic rock radio, then write the script based on the song title, and sell it to some clueless Hollywood execs high on 1980's nostalgia, who are more familiar with That 70's Show than they are with Eddie Money." Enough already.
