It's not just a Robbery. It's Payback. Universal has debuted a second new trailer via Apple for the ensemble comedy Tower Heist, directed by everyone's favorite filmmaker, Brett Ratner. At least it has a good cast: Ben Stiller, Matthew Broderick and next year's Oscar host Eddie Murphy leading the way, with Téa Leoni, Casey Affleck, Michael Peña, Alan Alda and even Gabourey Sidibe. This trailer follows up the original trailer debut, though this time they show a lot more in a shorter package, including revealing a few key plot elements. It actually doesn't look bad until Eddie Murphy shows up, but maybe that's just me.

After the workers at a luxury Central Park condominium discover they've fallen victim to the penthouse billionaire's Ponzi scheme, they plot the ultimate revenge: a heist to reclaim what he took from all of them.

The screenplay has numerous credits (in alphabetical order): Noah Baumbach, Bill Collage, Adam Cooper, Leslie Dixon, Russell Gewirtz, Ted Griffin, Rawson Marshall Thurber and a rewrite by Jeff Nathanson. Universal is bringing Tower Heist to theaters on November 4th this fall.

That's the campest I've ever seen Eddie Murphy, or was he always like that? Should be funny with the cast.

Honestly, it makes me a little sad that Eddie Murphy is still appearing in movies when so many good actors work as waiters at some diner, just one of the things I hate about Hollywood...
