GOLDEN BRIEFCASE
TGB Episode 60: The Good, Bad & Anti-Hero (Guest: Charlotte Cook)
by Tim Buel
May 11, 2011
On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase, Tim and Jeremy are joined by Charlotte Cook from The Frontline Club and the The Documentary Blog to go through their Picks of the Week, the newest in DVD and Blu-Ray releases, talk through new trailers for DC Comics' Green Lantern and Juan Fresnadillo's Intruders, heed Jeremy's advice on avoiding Dylan Dog: Dead of Dead and much more! The main topic of the night was anti-heroes in film (in honor of Attack the Block hitting UK cinemas this week). The group discusses some of the most notable examples and also contemplates what makes a good anti-hero in a film.
The Golden Briefcase is also broadcast LIVE on Tuesday nights starting at 7:30PM (PST). You can listen in via our Ustream page or by visiting our own live page right here on FS. The podcast is just as fun to listen to live while it's being recorded, with plenty of special guests, so I suggest you tune in the next time it records!

@Tim and Jeremy, great show this week! loved it. About anti-heroes, what do you think about V from "V for Vendetta"? I always thought of him as an anti-hero. again, great show! keep it up!

SO glad you mentioned "I Saw the Devil." I was waiting for it, waiting for it, and after you brought up the Alien movies I thought it wasn't gonna get a mention. Then there it was. Lol Idk why, but this honestly made me really happy.
