On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase, Tim and Jeremy are joined by writer/journalist Brian Truitt from USA Today/Weekend to go through their latest Picks of the Week, the newest DVD & Blu-Ray releases, talk through new trailers for the animated Adventures of Tintin, Rod Lurie's remake of Straw Dogs and Disney's The Muppets movie, plus respond to a listener voicemail and much more! The topic of the night was comedy sequels, in honor of The Hangover Part 2 hitting theaters this week. The guys talk over the elements of a good comedic sequel, and also talk through the unfortunate ones that weren't up to snuff.

Wow, nice call on The Great Muppet Caper Brian, it's one of my favs too. And I'm right with you that Bad Boys II is one film that greatly improved on and out shined the first. But from the sound of it (Jeremy or Tim) you had to sit through The Son of the Mask to know it was going to be garbage?...ouch. That's something that the name alone should have warned you about:P Fine ep fellas. Really looking forward to the upcoming X-Men episode and the Pirates podcast you mentioned.

Great episode guys!! You didn't say "cool guys"!! LOL I'm glad I haven't even heard of many of those Comedies since you said they were bad. Love your show. You actually set the bar so high I don't want to listen to any other podcasts. TGB is awesome 😀 Preachin' it 🙂
