GOLDEN BRIEFCASE
TGB Episode 64: Amblin Legacy (Guests: Kyle Newman/Toby Wilkins)
by Tim Buel
June 8, 2011
On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase, Tim and Jeremy are joined by directors Kyle Newman (Fanboys) and Toby Wilkins (Splinter) to go through their Picks of the Week, newest in DVD & Blu-Ray releases, new trailers for Rise of the Planet of the Apes and David Fincher's Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and more! The main topic was a discussion about the legacy of Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment production company, in honor of Super 8 hitting theaters. The guys talk through the extensive list of Amblin films including classics like E.T., The Goonies, Back to the Future, Young Sherlock Holmes and many many more.
The Golden Briefcase is also broadcast LIVE on Tuesday nights starting at 7:30PM (PST). You can listen in via our Ustream page or by visiting our own live page right here on FS. The podcast is just as fun to listen to live while it's being recorded, with plenty of special guests, so I suggest you tune in the next time it records!
