TGB Episode 69: The End of A Very Magical Era (Guest: Britt Hayes)
by Tim Buel
July 14, 2011
On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase, Tim and Jeremy are joined by Britt Hayes from Brutal As Hell to go through their Picks of the Week, the newest in DVD & Blu-Ray releases, chat about new trailers for Gus Van Sant's Restless and Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes 2, have a discussion on why Tim dislikes Adam Sandler, and more! The main topic was a celebration and retrospective on the film universe of Harry Potter, in honor of Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the very end of it all, in theaters. The gang talk over some of their thoughts on the final chapter and talk about what the future holds and if we'll ever revisit this world.
The Golden Briefcase is also broadcast LIVE on Tuesday nights starting at 7:30PM (PST). You can listen in via our Ustream page or by visiting our own live page right here on FS. The podcast is just as fun to listen to live while it's being recorded, with plenty of special guests, so I suggest you tune in the next time it records!

If you guys like the Guy Ritchie Sherlock Holmes you absolutely must see the Micheal Caine/Ben Kingsley parody film Without A Clue. It is a brilliant satire but more of a re-imagining that puts Watson as the brains behind the pair and Sherlock as an aloof actor puppet. Other than that, simply awesome episode guys, thanks for all the laughs and quips that just make the Golden Briefcase a joy to listen to. Have a good weekend!!
