Great podcast as usual guys! While to me this has been a roller coaster year in cinema (with both highs and lows), overall I thought it was a fun ride. I agree with most of your picks in this podcast but I would especially like to agree with Alex on breakout of the year. I don’t think my film going experience would have been nearly as wonderful if it wasn’t for the discovery of Tom Hiddleston. I felt that all three of his performances were absolutely phenomenal and I can’t wait to see more from him in the upcoming years (Avengers yay!). In a short time, Tom Hiddleston has become one of my favorite actors and I can tell that I will go to greater lengths to see movies if he is in them, even ones I may not be looking forward to otherwise. He definitely has a bright future. I would also like to mention that I agree with your consensus for biggest disappointment with X-Men. It seems that I too was hyped up for the film only to be rather disappointed by the end. While there were some fantastic parts (Fassbender, the time period setting, etc.) it didn’t seem to grasp me the way I was hoping and some of the acting was putrid (i.e. January Jones). But it still was a fun time at the movies with the family. Overall it was good, just disappointing at the same time. Thanks for a wonderful year! I’m already looking forward to the next!
