The guys list off plenty of psychotic mothers from films such as Black Swan, Carrie, House of the Devil and many more! Any chance these will come back to Zune Marketplace? The latest episodes on there are from March 2010...unless they're listed under a different name?

Hey man, not sure why they stopped populating at the Zune Marketplace. We will certainly look into it and see what the issue is! Any chance you can just get it through iTunes and sync to the zune somehow?

Does Sarah Polley in Splice count? She was sorta Dren's mother and she was certainly bat shit insane

Even Delia Deetz has a nomination to be had, although she was seemingly "normal" by the end of the film...but I am just in shock that "Norma" Bates from Psycho, the Grandmomma of crazy movie moms isn't on this list. Be she rotting away in the flesh or re-enacted, she is the matriarch of horror and the crazy mom that somewhat started it all. How was this overlooked?

I think we left her out for the very reason. She is a given. We wanted to to give some other examples the people may not be aware of

Bah. No more obvious than "Mommy Dearest" or "Pamela Vorhees" and most of the other McMoms you've got listed. The title is " Top 5 Crazy Mothers of Cinema." Norma is (one of) the tops and most influential to cinema, genres and your title, plain and simple. Credit where credit is due in my opinion, but hey, I guess thats why its your podcast. Good topic regardless, I like the top-5 and thematic-movie-connections, I'm finally interested in listening to one of these podcasts.

Well I'm glad you're interested.
