Watch: Another Kick Ass Official UK Trailer for 'Conan the Barbarian'
"When he feels thirst - it is the thirst for blood." His name is Conan. Hell yes it is! Our friends at HeyUGuys have dug up the latest official UK trailer for Lionsgate's Conan the Barbarian movie, starring Jason Momoa as Conan and Stephen Lang as the evil Khalar Zym. We've seen a few trailers already, including a bloody red band trailer most recently, but I think this is the best one yet, as we get a sense of backstory and it's just cut together incredibly well. I just think this is looking more and more polished, like the epic Conan movie I know everyone wants to see. Looking better or are opinions still split? Give this trailer another shot.
Watch the latest official UK trailer for Marcus Nispel's Conan the Barbarian (originally from Facebook):
In addition to Momoa, Conan the Barbarian stars Ron Perlman, Rachel Nichols, Rose McGowan, Stephen Lang, Steven O'Donnell and Saïd Taghmaoui as Ela-Shan. This is being directed by Marcus Nispel of the Friday the 13th remake, that atrocity Pathfinder, the other Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, and a bunch of music videos. This is a Nu Image/Millennium Films production co-produced by Avi Lerner and Joe Gatta and is based on the classic characters created by Robert E. Howard which first debuted in 1932 in Weird Tales. Lionsgate is bringing Conan the Barbarian to theaters in 3D starting on August 19th this summer.
Still dont like it ...this actor... looks weird, slim and too clean to be a real barbarian

I"m so sick and tired of this world always on about revenge, victim victimizer BS. The human race needs to grow the heck up!

That was the worst trailer for the film so far.

The 'problem' is not the trailers or whatnot. Its just terrible casting. Eye liner dude wouldve been good in a making the band movie but this still looks...bad,imo.

The best trailer so far. The kid holding the sword up in the air was cheesy though. Glad they got to music right in making it more summer epic. I'll watch it if Conan does that chick he's sitting by the camp fire with. Judging by the previous trailer she was in shadows, which is gayer than hell since you can't see her nude body. I hope she is not in the shadows nude. I look forward to this movie. I hope it's more Lord of the Rings and LESS Kull. Kull had rock music in it and when some moron had put rock music in the previous trailer MAKING THE SAME MISTAKE TWICE than I was reluctant. THE LORD OF THE RINGS HAD NO ROCK MUSIC IN IT'S TRAILERS AND IT IS THE HIGHEST GROSSING FANTASY MOVIE OF ALL TIME. I hope the guy who put the rock music in the previous trailers got fired.

You mean Krull?

All I see when I look at him is Khal Drogo.....pretty sure GOT has ruined Momoas acting career forever lol.

Hahahahahaa......... still no.

The worst one so far. I guess being the UK one they had to cut it together exactly like a Harry Potter trailer, including the frantic choir soundtrack used in two dozen or more movie trailers.

Looks awful. Far too glossy and nowhere near dark enough compared to the source material. Look's like a goddamn episode of 'Xena: Warrior Princess' for christ's sake. It's all these digital camera systems making movies look shit. There's no longer any difference between a glossy TV drama and a theatrical movie. It's just depressing.

Maybe the editor will push the "distressed" button on his Avid system before the final render? lol
Kaim on Jul 6, 2011
You had me sold on this a while back. I'll definitely see it in theaters.

What is his response when she says, "Conan, that's it?" I can't make it out.

All that I will say is, compare John Milius to Marcus Nispel. IMDB style. Not too different. Not a lot of directing gigs, but Milius has it for writing. Then Jason Mamoa vs. Schwarzenegger. No contest. Arnold has it for the delivery. Bold and manly delivery vs. just plain raspy. What is it with the raspy voices that hollywood is in to? Do me a favor, go back and watch a small clip of Conan the Barbarian (1982) and then watch one of these trailers. Who's more of a man?
