Sometimes the past comes back to haunt you. An early sales promo trailer for Seven Below, a haunted house horror-thriller starring Ving Rhames, Luke Goss and Val Kilmer among others, has debuted via Bloody-Disgusting. This indie horror involves a house where a group of strangers end up together, and history begins to repeat itself, as 100 years before some kid went crazy and killed his whole family. It looks pretty terrible. Between this and Twixt, it's sad to see Val Kilmer ending up in crappy, low budget straight-to-DVD horror, but that's pretty much what this looks like. "This is my sanctuary, your souls belong to me!"
Watch the early promo trailer for Kevin Carraway's Seven Below, via Bloody-Disgusting:
The story centers on a group of strangers brought together when a shuttle accident leaves them stranded in a house in the woods owned by a man named Jack (Ving Rhames) where a terrible event transpired exactly 100 years prior. The group seems trapped in a ghostly time warp, and history is repeating itself.
Seven Below, originally titled Seven Below Zero, is directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Kevin Carraway (The Fear Chamber) from a script he co-wrote with Lawrence Sara (Caged Animal). It's currently looking for a distributor at AFM, but considering how bad it looks, I'm not sure it's coming to theaters. Thoughts?

alex, i don't think this looks as bad as you're making it out to be.......it looks ok for a one-time watch. - and it certainly looks better than a lot of horror flicks (including mainstream horror like the "final destination" and "scream" rehashes). of course, i'm a sucker for haunted house movies - so, i want to hope this will be ok.

I'd rather watch that over Paranormal Activity 9 or whatever number is next.

This looks pretty bad and that's coming from me, I'll watch anything. I even watched a film called Paradox the other night where there wasn't any science only magic and that was better looking than this.

Parts of Seven Below was filmed in my home town Modest,Goshen Ohio. My home ( looks like a church-now a home) and across the street my sister's country store was in the film. We got to see Val Kilmer and his other co-stars and it was cool. It took over 9 hours of filming in this locating.
